Andy
Iwanchuk grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan and later moved to the City
of North Battleford, where he attended High School. He attended the
University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Arts
Advance Degree in Political Science and Sociology.
He has served in leadership roles in several community
organizations including the United Way of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Legal
Aid Commission and as a Staff Representative for the Canadian Union of
Public Employees prior to being elected.
Andy is the Opposition Whip and serves as the critic responsible for Labour.
Andy was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in a March 2003
by-election. He was re-elected in the general election in November
later that same year and then again in November 2007.
