Petition to Keep Open the Western Development Museum
Wherefore your Petitioners humbly pray that your Honourable Legislative Assembly may be pleased to cause the government to properly fund the Western Development Museum to ensure its branches are open on Mondays and its admission fees are affordable.
Petition Calling for Fair Immigration Changes to the SINP
We, in the prayer that reads as follows, respectfully
request that the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan take the following
action: To cause the provincial government to hold meaningful consultations with
community members affected by these extreme changes to the Family Class stream,
and work towards a solution that adequately recognizes the good-faith and
sacrifice demonstrated by the families who moved to Saskatchewan based on the
promises made through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
Protecting Late Night Retail Workers by Passing Jimmy's Law
We, in the prayer that reads as follows, respectfully request that the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan take the following action: Cause the government of Saskatchewan to immediately enact Bill 601, Jimmy’s Law, to ensure greater safety for retail workers who work late night hours.
Film Tax Credit Petition
We, in the prayer that reads as follows, respectfully request that the Government of Saskatchewan: Continue to provide a tax incentive for film, video and television employment to leverage investment, employment and growth in the province’s film, video and television sector.
Petition to reassess Saskatchewan Wildfire Management Policy
Wherefore your petitioners humbly pray that your Honourable Legislative Assembly may be pleased to cause the provincial government to recognize that the people of Saskatchewan deserve the very best in protection services as it relates to forest fire policy; And in so doing, cause the provincial government to immediately implement a full review of the Saskatchewan Wildfire Management Policy, as it has been years since this program was last assessed.
Petition for a Saskatchewan Seniors’ Bill of Rights
We, in the prayer that reads as follows, respectfully request that the Legislative Assembly
of Saskatchewan: Enact a Saskatchewan Seniors’ Bill of Rights, which would provide
Saskatchewan Seniors with social and economic security and protection from abuse,
neglect and exploitation.
